It used to be fine and now, it has this error #1706. (What causes make me get this error?) I can't repair it because it requires a CD and I don't have the CD anymore. There have been a few service packs for Office 2003 as well. FIX A: You are trying to install from a network source that requires an Administrator Login. Acquire Login and then install. FIX B: Your CD may be damaged or dirty, try cleaning it and try to install again. FIX C: Uninstall office from add/remove programs. Search Office CD for "offcln.exe". Run file from search Window, and remove all office files. Reinstall Office FIX D: Sometimes missing or corrupt files can be a sign of faulty memory. Run a Memory test on your computer.
