I keep getting a little box popping up that says "Error 1706. error 1706 No valid source for HPProductAssistant..." blah blah blah, and when I try to cancel out of it, it just keeps popping up again. The similar post said to use some link to see if a virus had put some of my files in bak folders, or something to that effect. I did the scan and a error 1706 office whole bunch of my files are apparently in bak folders. So now I have the list of files and don't know what to do with them. Any takers? Your help would be greatly appreciated as I am a novice with technology!
