I've been trying to install pinnacle's "Dazzle" usb video capture device driver (model DVC100), but keep getting error 1719 this: Error 1719. The Windows Installer Service could not be accessed. This can occur if the Windows Installer is not correctly installed. Contact your support personnel for assistance. I've been on so many forums and even with the pinnacle support crew, which was pretty useless. I'm running Windows 7 Home Premium on an HP Pavilion dv6 Notebook (64 bit OS) I've tried several things but to no avail. Has anyone had problems error 1719 windows with their Windows Installer? Not sure if it's specific to this device, but more problems with a corrupt Windows Installer maybe? Thanks to anyone who can help me with this annoyance. I really want to get down to capturing some video!
