Granted this is only 2 days in passing, but it's typical that we hear of this SSL error every day.Edited by: Steve McGee on Sep 30, 2010 12:04 PM 1310-271613-14

Since I got this Mac Mini in September it has been working fine from Opera and I am running OS X Snow Leopard. Last night the Mini was freezing for my wife so I did some Force Quits including on the Citrix ICA Client and now I can't connect. So I am not sure if that is related. Also FYI one of my coworkers also got this same or a similar error with her Mac over the weekend trying to login to work. I have tried re-booting the Mac, re-installing
any updates since I wrote it. It may still work; who knows? This is one that the http://scruss.com/blog/2006/12/14/when-you-really-havent-chosen-not-to-trust-citrix-mac-os-x-and-entrust-certificates/ support desk of my employer really should've answered, but they gave their usual, https://partner.2tcloud.com/kb/article/260/ "You mentioned Macintosh in your e-mail, so this conversation stops here" response. Anyway, they've just upgraded their Citrix access, and what used to work now gives the rather cruddy response: Just what SSL Error 0: You have not chosen to trust "Entrust.net Secure Server Certification Authority",the issuer of the server's security certificate. error 183 Error number: 183 is supposed to mean to anyone, I don't know. (Well, actually, I do know, but in rants like this it's customary to feign ignorance in a huffy manner. Work with me here, people.) So, to fix this: Make sure that Citrix ICA Client is installed Go to entrust.net/developer and click on Download Root Certificates Select Personal Use, and click on Download citrix error 183 Certificates Download entrust_ssl_ca.cer and entrust_ssl_ca.der to your desktop Open a terminal (it's in Applications/Utilities), and enter the following: cd /Applications/Citrix\ ICA\ Client/keystore/cacerts/ cp -p ~/Desktop/entrust_ssl_ca.* . ln -s entrust_ssl_ca.cer entrust_ssl_ca.crt Exit the terminal, and try your Citrix session again. There might be some unnecessary steps there, and this might all be fixed by downloading the latest release of the ICA client, but this works for me now. an error message like below. SSL Error 61 "You have not chosen to trust "DigiCert SHA2 High Assurance Server CA", the issuer of the server's security certificate. Solutions: This is a client side issue. The issue is related to a locally stored certificate chain file that is outdated. Normally you should get an updated certificate if you keep your Operation System up to date. If you manually installed the older certificate here are some tips to remove them: OS X users can resolve the issue by deleting the certificate from their Login keystore using Keychain Access. In Keychain Access go to View -> Show Expired Certs and search for ‘DigiCert High” to find the DigiCert High Assurance EV Root CA that expired on July 26, 2014. Delete this certificate and close Keychain Access. Did this not work for you?
