No issues at all, not one bit. In fact, I love this new version A LOT.Here is where the problems start. It seems like when I go idle (for an undetermined amount of time) about 3-5 times a day I get disconnected with the following error:SSL Error 4: A network error occurred while connection to "citrix.mycompany.com".Error number: 183Our SSL cert is trusted (it's a 3 year cert which expires in March). Web interface works beautifully, and a ton of our windows PN Agent clients are working fine - no issues. I am one of 2 people in the company using OSX client - I am curious if there is some sort
I work changed the certificate for remote access via Citrix this past weekend. Wheras previously I had no problem accessing the https://medgirl2001.wordpress.com/2010/02/08/citrix-on-mac-a-fix-for-ssl-error-61/ VPN using Citrix via Firefox on a Mac, it suddently stopped working. I got the following error: SSL Error 61: You have not chosen to trust “Network Solutions Certificate Authority,” http://www.archy.net/citrix-online-plug-in-ssl-error-61-you-have-not-chosen-to-trust/ the issuer of the server’s security certificate. Error number: 183 This was a puzzling error. I checked my certificates under Firefox and it seemed to be correct. The certificate error 183 appeared in my Keychain. I tried adjusting the Trust settings for the certificate on Keychain, but that had no effect. No one at IT was able to help me because they don't have much Mac experience. A Google search showed that this is a fairly common problem that can affect several different certificates (the one listed above is the error 183 windows one I had a problem with). Unfortunately, none of the answers I found got me all the way to a fix. I thought I would post my solution here to see if it helps anyone. 1. Go to Keychain Access and find the certificate that is a problem (for me it was Network Solutions Certificate Authority, but it could be any of a number of certificates). 2. Export the certificate to the desktop (right click/export) - it will appear as Network Solutions Certificate Authority.cer 3. Go to the Citrix folder on the Mac and look for a keystore/cacerts folder. 4. If the folder isn't there, you will need to create it. To do this, go to Applications/Citrix ICA Client. Create the folder keystore (Right click/new folder). Within that folder, create the folder cacerts. The path will be Applications/Citrix ICA Client/keystore/cacerts. 5. Copy the certificate exported from Keychain earlier (Network Solutions Certificate Authority.cer) to the Applications/Citrix ICA Client/keystore/cacerts folder. Some sources say you need to change the extension to .crt (so in the example, this wou
Plug-in for Mac, SSL Error 61: You have not chosen to trust… 03 Mar 2010 Citrix Online Plug-in for Mac, SSL Error 61: You have not chosen to trust… In this post I explain how I tried to troubleshoot this issue, if you need the solution, go at the end of this post. My company (Activlan) had to renew our certificate installed on our Citrix Secure Gateway 3.1.3. As you might know, Citrix has issued some virtual appliance and I had to chose between, Citrix Access Gateway 4.6.2 VPX and Netscaller VPX Express (Free !). My choice was to integrate a Citrix Access Gateway (CAG) mainly because we are using other product to manage VPN to all our customers and I wanted to install what I needed, nothing less, nothing more. So here we go, I got my xva file from MyCitrix account and I just deploy it on our XenServer, very easy, very simple, just some clicks. Once installed and basics configuration set, I had to generate the CSR (Certificate Signing Request) and wait for Verisign to send me the certificate I had to use with the CAG. This was a big adventure and of course I should have read the manual before, and configuration isn't so easy but I guess when you do it all day long you begin to know everything and I can say now, I know how to troubleshoot a CAG from the client side to the Web Interface. This error I got with my Mac didn't show up on my Windows computers. In fact Apple doesn't have a very big list of root certificate install on their OS compare to Windows. Here is the error message I got when I wanted to launch published application (XenApp). I was able to login in the CAG and the Web Interface as well, but not able to launch application. SSL Error 61: You have not chosen to trust "Verisign Class 3 Secure Server CA - G2", the issuer of the server's security certificate. Error number: 183 Sexy message, isn't it ? After searching around a bit I found this thread on Citrix's forums : http://forums.citrix.com/message.jspa?messageID=447656 everything went clear, I didn't had the root certificate on my computer to validate my brand new certificate from Verisign… So I tried to find how to get these root certificates, especially Verisign Class 3 Secure Server CA - G2, the one I needed. I found this Verisign address http://www.verisign.com/repository/roots/pca_certificate.html where you just have to fill a form to get a zip with everything what you might need : Code blockStephane-THIRIONs-MacBook:VeriSign Root Certificates stephane$ ls ./* ./Roots ReadMe.txt ./SHA
