Visual Studio Development > Visual Studio Setup and Installation Question 0 Sign in to vote Hi,I have Windows 7 and when I error code 1935 windows 7 try to install Microsoft visual c++ 2008 redistributible, i get the following vc90 error windows 7 error:I read on a forum that i should do something with"c:\windows\logs\cbs\cbs.log" and look there hresult: 0x800736b3 windows 7 for the error, but this answer was for windows vista and I can't even get to my cbs.log.Hope someone can help me out, so I can be able to install Microsoft

You'll find an event for it in the Windows event log. Chicken-and-egg problem, your installer needs to install the CRT before it tries to use it. And yes, you won't see it all that often since it frequently is already installed on a machine.
