My dxdiag and event viewer error log are included below. I am experiencing Error 1935 upon installation of the 2005 C++ Redistributable during setup. Then rolls back actions and I end up with a system that gives me: BTTray.exe System Error The Program can't start because error 1935 btwhidcs.DLL is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem. Of course re-installing does not help. The fix suggested in the previous version of this question refers to http://support.microsoft.com/kb/970652 . However I do not have Visual Studio (and frankly do not see how that is going to error 1935 on solve my Bluetooth installation issue).
