It keeps returning the 1935 error and I have looked error 1935 at the solutions herehttp://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx/kb/926804 they are not sovling the problem at all.I have TRIED to uninstall it, and even the uninstall failed, or should I say, partially failed. Add Remove programs says it is doesn't exist, yet it was in the list in the Windows Installer Cleanup Tool. I did remove it from there. The .NET Framework is error 1935 office not in Add Remove programs, and yet when I go to install the .NET Framework 2.0, the install tells me that it exists as part of the OS.Anyone have any ideas ?Thanks...Michael Thursday, December 31, 2009 12:22 AM Reply | Quote Answers 0 Sign in to vote Hi,Try the steps listed in the following website:The "Windows Features" dialog box is empty in Windows 7 or Windows Vista, or you receive an error message that includes the following code when you try to use Windows Update: "0x80073712"Best RegardsDale Marked as answer by Dale QiaoModerator Tuesday, January 12, 2010 2:21 AM Friday, January 08, 2010 3:43 AM Reply | Quote Moderator All replies 0 Sign in to vote See if this newer dated KB article helps you http://support.microsoft.com/kb/946691and also try running the sfc /scannow from the command line helps. The KB article you linked is over 2 years old as now .Net Framework is up to v3.5. I know it refers to SP1 for Office 2007 but I think
or 2010 This is a How to Guide on how to ACTUALLY Fix Error 1935 during the installation of Microsoft Office. There are so many sites out there that tell you absolute junk on how to fix this error when its a simple quick & easy fix! So this is the hideous error that we all hate The good news is that its simple to fix. Once you have closed the installer Click on Start & select RUN or hold down the windows key & push R Type regedit in the RUN: field & click ok when Regedit opens in the left hand column expand HKEY_CURRENT_USER then Software then Microsoft Scroll down till you see a folder called Office Right click on it & select Delete Then go expand HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE then Software then Microsoft Scroll down till you see 2 folders Office & OfficeSoftwareProtectionPlatform Right click on both of them & select Delete now close regedit & reboot your computer. You should be able to install Office now. If you still have no luck then re-install all the .NET Framework Installations on your computer.
