I currently have 3 partitions on my HDD: 1.NTSF - Windows XP Primary drive C: 2. FAT32 F: 3.FAT32 G: Now im trying to put both F: and G: back together. I formatted F: to fat32 as https://www.experts-exchange.com/questions/20557707/Error-983-Partition-Magic-8-0-in-Windows-XP-home.html it has nothing on it, however, drive G: already is FAT 32 and has all my music etc. so its staying how it is. Whenever i try merge them, it starts proces then comes up with the errors "error #2003 File size does not match FAT allocation for file" and another one i thik its #938 Has too many errors. It may fix it right there or it might tell you it will fix it upon the next boot. The second error, 938 is probably because of the first one :P. Just follow the Chkdsk thing and you shouldnt get it anymore. __________________ Intel i5 750 @ 3.8GHz | Gigabyte GIGABYTE P55 UD4P | 4GB G.Skill 1600Mhz | Xigmatek Dark Knight | Sparkle GTX 260 Click Here To Add Me To Your ICQ List My Avatar Folding@Home 25000 Points Milestone commando View Public Profile Visit commando's homepage! Shouldn't the chkdsk be done on the volume/partition I'm attemting to alter, and not the volume the OS/PartitionMagic resides on..? If so, how's that achieved.? I'm a little short on time as I type this. thankies. ^^) I'm having some problems resizing an NTFS partition with Partitionmagic 8. I'm trying to resize the partition (which contains Windows XP and takes up almost all of the 80GBs), so that I can install Ubuntu as well.
