However, when I move the application to the server on the same machine and test the aplication, the agent throws the following error: "Error 201: Operation is disallowed in this session" I guess the agent is failing at the line where I have the code below: Set Connector = CreateObject("MSSOAP.HttpConnector30") I suspect it is a secirity issue,I have checked the Databse Access Control and it's in other. Please can someone be of help? Thanks so much in anticipation. Chima. Return to top Error 201(Operation is disallowed i... (Austine Umeh 30.May.07) . . RE: Error 201(Operation is disallow... My agent connects to an LDAP server, looks up an email address and returns with the results. This LotusScript searches the LDAP Server using Microsoft ActiveX Data Objects (ADO) and Active Directory Service Interface (ADSI) provider. The program constructs an SQL statement for the https://www.experts-exchange.com/questions/21155710/Script-Error-Operation-is-disallowed-on-this-session.html search and passes it to the "execute" method of the "ADODB.Connection" class. The agent runs fine from the Notes client. However, when the agent runs per a schedule it throws the error: "Operation is disallowed on this session". The "Set" line of the following code causes the error: Sub Initialize Dim adoConn As Variant Set adoConn = CreateObject("ADODB.Connection") adoConn.Provider = "ADSDSOObject" adoConn.Open "ADs Provider" End Sub suggestions? thanks in advance 0 Question by:swhite025 Facebook Twitter LinkedIn Google LVL 1 Best Solution byschubemk Open the agent using an R6 designer client and look at the agent's properties. Top 1. error 201: operation is disallowed in this session Hi, I just have downloaded the domreg.nsf database from lotus, so I am testing this application on my LAN. I get an error whenever I try to register a new user : error 201: operation is disallowed in this session I tracked the source in order to find where error 201 it come from and found that it is in a function called 'EnsureUserInNab' the source for this function is the following : -------------------------------- ' This sub is used to guarantee that the NAB view of users is up-to-date after adding a new ' user. Domino 1.5 does not force the view to be up-to-date when authenticating users, so ' we'll do it ourselves so the user error 201 operation can start working right away. ' See Declarations for the definitions of the Notes API functions used in this Sub Sub EnsureUserInNAB(Byval fullname As String) Dim hBuf As Long Call NAMELookup(0, 0, 1, "$Users", 1, fullname, 1, "HTTPPassword", hBuf) Call OSMemFree(hBuf) Call NAMELookup(0, 0, 1, "$ServerAccess", 1, fullname, 1, "ListName", hBuf) Call OSMemFree(hBuf) End Sub ------------------------------ in fact it is the first call to NAMELookup that provokes the error. NAMELookup is defined in the declaration section of the script library of domreg.nsf : Declare Sub NAMELookup Lib "nnotes.dll" _ (Byval serverName As Integer, _ Byval flags As Integer, _ Byval numNameSpaces As Integer, _ Byval nameSpaces As String, _ Byval numNames As Integer, _ Byval names As String, _ Byval numItems As Integer, _ Byval items As String, _ rethBuffer As Long _ ) How can I avoid this error ? (I didn't forget to save the agents using the server.id) I bypassed it by adding an "on error goto" in the function, but I'd like to know why I got this error. 2. free report 3.
