Error 2753: The File 'filename.exe' is not marked for installation. What I don't understand is that the component is installed correctly (that is, the condition evaluates to TRUE). However, the action fails. I use the following settings: Type: Run Executable File ID: filename.exe Scheduling: Immediate Return: Ignore Furthermore, I tried using other permutations of Run Executable but it does not work. BTW, I used this same technique before but this is the first time where a Condition other than 1 is used. Here's the code I used in RunExe.lua. Code: local runExe = MSI.GetProperty(_hInstall, "RUN_EXE"); if (runExe) then exe = MSI.GetTargetPath(_hInstall, "INSTALLDIR") .. "filename.exe"; Shell.Execute(exe); end Where RUN_EXE is an integer property bound to a checkbox control defined under Project Settings and configured to Allow transfer to server side (property is secure).
