Click the Start button and choose My Computer. Right-click the CD drive and choose Explore. Double-click the ThirdParty folder, and then: QuickBooks Desktop 2016 and 2017: Double-click the DOTNET46 folder, and then double-click DOTNETFX46.exe. QuickBooks Desktop 2014 and 2015: Double-click the DOTNET40 folder, and then double-click DOTNETFX40.exe. Follow the onscreen instructions to install the framework.
