Solution: Solution This error 2908 could not register component windows 7 error indicates that the wrong version of theMicrosoft .NET Framework is installed. To see which version of the .NET Framework is currently installed On the Start menu (Windows), click Settings > Control Panel. InControl Panel, double-clickAdd or Remove Programs. In the Add orRemove Programs dialog box,locate the .NET Framework and check the version. Note: If you have the 2.0 Beta version of the .NET Framework installed, uninstall it. To resolve this issue, you can reinstall eitherversion 1.1 or version 2.0 of the .NET Framework using one of the following methods: Method 1 Insert the firstCivil 3D 2006 installationdisk into your CD-ROM drive. Locate the DOTNETFX.exe file in the following directory: E:\BIN\INSTALLER\SUPPORT\DOTNETFX Method2 Double-click the DOTNETFX.exe file to start the installation. Once the installation is finished, reboot your computer. Install version 2.0 of the .NET Framework, using Microsoft Update. This happen to me when I wanted to install .Net Framework for Visual Studio .Net 2003 installation Please help me to work further on this installation. Po wpisaniu błędu do Google dowiedziałem się, że jest on powiązany z .Net Framework. Odinstalowałem wszelkie wersje jakie miałem, ale problem nadal występuje. Druga rzekoma metoda mówiła o usunięciu pliku mscoree.dll (z lok. C:/Windows/System32), ale to także nie pomogło. Myślę, że nie zbyt ważny jest fakt że jestem niedługo po powrocie na XP SP3. Pomogłem ?
