I keep getting an error message, 2908. I'm pretty sure that it's a problem with a previous version of .net Framework in my labtop. It runs error 2908 microsoft office 2010 on windows vista home edition. I tried to repair .net 4.0, I uninstalled and reinstalled .net 4.0, unstalled C++ 2008, cleaned my registry of any keys that are now empty. The iso offline file doesn't work either. I tried to delete files of old .net framework from the windows/Microsoft.net/Framework file but I can't delete the dll files, it says that I need permission to delete them first. It seems clear that the problem is in the previous .net versions in that folder. I just have no clue on the solution. HELP!! I can't install Visual Basic 2010 express because I keep getting error 2908 a couple of times and finally an error 1935, after which the installation rolls back. I never had this error 1935 an problem on Windows XP, but since a couple of weeks I have Windows 7 installed and now I can't install VB anymore. I have also tried disabling antivirus, running the setup executable as administrator, and reinstalling the .NET framework, This is very frustrating for me. My OS: Windows 7 32 bit .NET framework 4.0 Can anyone please help me? Would be VERY VERY much appreciated!
