Error 5003, Regsvcs failed for assembly c:\program files (x86)\Microsoft BizTalk Server 2010\Microsoft.BizTalk.Deployment.dll. Return code -2146234013. I thought its probably with an issue with 32-bit OS. I upgraded my OS to 64-bit. But still no success. I found many forum on this on google. Many people has this issue but no resolution. In one of the forum, MS has cleaned its hand saying its machine specific issue which is quite possible. But what is that issue?, I'd like to know. Because at the end of the day, the OS is also from MS. I'd request someone from MS to give resolution around this quickly. I'm stuck with this issue. I never had issue with my earlier laptop with same OS image. However there was some comment in the same "BizTalk 2010 setup installs .NET 4.0 framework as part of the installation. Could you please therefore ensure that the machine has been restarted after .NET 4.0 installtion ? Also, can you run regsvcs.exe (when you encounter the error) from the Directory C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727." Can you reboot your server and try. Also if that didn't work can you please just try to manually register component "c:\program files (x86)\Microsoft BizTalk Server 2010\Microsoft.BizTalk.Deployment.dll". Atleast you will be sure if its issue with BizTalk installer or regsvcs.exe component.(Make sure user is admin on the same box) Marked as answer by Leonid GanelineMVP, Moderator Sunday, January 20, 2013 5:38 AM Wednesday, August 22, 2012 12:18 PM Reply | Quote All replies 0 Sign in to vote After installing the OS did you get all the security / windows updates?Shiva Sadayan Wednesday, August 15, 2012 10:01 AM Reply | Quote 0 Sign in to vote Take

You a Admin and Network System has the correct folder permissions to the temp drive?I’ve installed it about 5 times so far – and haven’t seen that error. Stephen W. Thomas http://www.BizTalkGurus.com Reply Posted by Anonymous on Thu, Apr 13 2006 4:38 AM BizTalk 2006 installation fails Thanks Stephan,As a matter of fact even I installed BTS2006 in 4 systems so far. Even I didn't encounter any problem. This is the first time I am facing such problemI don't think there is a permission problem. I tried again but this time it shows same error but instead of deployment.dll it shows Microsoft.Sql.Adapter.dll Why it is failing registry service. Is there any way I can mannually register this dll?Any help would be appreciated. Not sure how that will work out through. I know in the 2004 days, sometimes I’d just give up – re image. Then, the next time everything would work. Doesn’t make sense to me…Best of luck. Stephen W.
