Hi You can Try seen lots of this errors Error Code 5100 Solution 1:Clean the timing strip.Solution 2:The purge cap (the white sliding mechanism that the print head parks to when it's not in use) may be not lubricated well enough .Lubricate the sliders with some white grease (don't get it on the small wipers or the black caps); this repair probably require to remove the right panel off of the printer to gain access to the purge mechanism. The only way that i know of to fix this is to replace the print head. N.B. Some machines have the print head as part of the cartridge, if yours has seperate tanks, remove the ink tanks and take out the print by lifting the grey lever up then lift out the head.Cheers by Printx on Aug 16, 2005 at 7:38pm Add comment Please sign in to comment 0 Thanks so much, I'll give it a go and let you know how I went!Cheers, you're a champ!Sar by sarcurtis on Aug 16, 2005 at 7:56pm Add comment Please sign in to comment 0 Disconnecting and reconnecting the power worked for me by Anonymous on Sep 5, 2005 at 1:31pm Add comment Please sign in to comment thanks! i disconnected and reconnected and it worked fine. canons are so much more not user friendly than epson.. - Anonymous 0 Turn on your MP110.After that press: Menu - Scan - Copy - Scan.It will enter in Service Mode. Here I don't know exactly the procedure but may be something like that for mpc190/200 that follow:Resetting the Waste Ink Volume Counter 1) Enter SERVICE MODE.--- By pressing Menu-Copy-Scan-Copy-Copy 2) Select TEST MODE. 3) Select [8] PRINTER TEST in TEST MODE. 4) Select 3.
