However just before I get the main screen I get a message "app error 606" I haven't drop it or done anything that I think would damage it... Answered! First troubleshooting step is a hard reset (remove the battery while the power is on, and wait 30 seconds before putting the battery back).If the error persists, upgrade the OS if possible. If you are already running the latest OS, reload the OS. Here is one site to explain this better and here is a list of providers where you should get you OS. One more site to help you out. I'm over the moon, my bb is like 'brand new' ...I just lost my list of contacts but its fine as long as my bb works again.. Was this answer helpful?
