Searched and searched on this site plus Blackberry Support Forum, Blackberry Knowledge Base.......none of the suggested fixes worked. Called Orange Technical Services in the end and as the BBerry (that they supplied) is within the 12 mth warranty, they are doing a straight swap - as they said they can't fix it. Good luck if you also encounter this problem, this got the better of me.
