Any help is appreciated!!! mistydemeo commented May 8, 2013 Please follow these steps: https://github.com/mxcl/homebrew/wiki/Troubleshooting zero01123 commented May 8, 2013 The brew doctor loads just fine. mistydemeo commented May 8, 2013 Can you follow the other steps and post the information it requests, please? zero01123 commented May 8, 2013 My OS X is 10.8.3. I am hoping I did that right. https://gist.github.com/zero01123/5540484 mistydemeo error cannot run commented May 8, 2013 /usr/bin/sed: No such file or directory That's weird, do you know why /usr/bin/sed isn't there? zero01123 commented May 8, 2013 To be honest I don't. I ran through the set up several times. I uninstalled and reinstalled everything, I just keep getting stuck here. Here is a hopefully better look. https://gist.github.com/zero01123/5540519 I went to the /bin/sh and tried to change the permissions from read only to read and write, no luck there either. Edit: Is there maybe something I am missing? I ran: ruby -e "$(curl -fsSL https://raw.github.com/mxcl/homebrew/go)", then brew doctor. Everything is fine up to this point. I also get the same error when I run: brew install wget adamv commented May 10, 2013 If you don't have a /usr/bin/sed there's not much we can do; that's a system-provided file that many things depend on. adamv closed this May 10, 2013 xu-cheng locked and limited conversation to collaborators Feb 16, 2016 Sign up for free to subscribe to this conversation on GitHub.
