Expression Web Licensing Error

Restart your expression program and try again. If you continue to receive this error message, reinstall your Expression program to make sure that the license installs" I downloaded expression studio from Dreamspark and have a 100% genuine edition of Microsoft Windows 7 (64 bit). I have tried reinstalling and repairing it (over 5 times now), removing the files in C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\SL\DL2\SoftwareLicensing, turning on the Software Licensing service, and running the System File Checker. I know that this error has something to do with my computer because I tried installing it on others and it works fine. It seems that this error has been reported over and over again and there still isnt a fix. Will Microsoft please finally look into this error and fix it? If you can please tell me any other options I can try to fix this and if you need any information please let me know. With this post, I hope to answer the most frequently asked questions and eliminate any confusion. The upgrade path for Expression Web 4 depends on how you acquired Expression Web 3. If you purchased a retail version of Expression Web 3 (e.g., from the Microsoft Store, from a local software retailer, from Digital River, etc.), you should download and install the Expression Web 4 Trial version from microsoft.com. The upgrade should happen automatically as you install Expression Web 4. Volume Licenses – Visit the Volume Licensing Service Center (VLSC) to make arrangements to download the upgrade. Your company and/or your reseller need to be registered with the VLSC in order to successfully download the upgrade. As with DreamSpark, at the time I write this, Expression Web 4 and Expression Studio 4 are not yet available on the VLSC, but should be soon. When I contacted support, I was told that a product key is not required for volume license version. But after I installing it, expression web licensing I get the following error message: A licensing error has occurred. Restart your Expression program and try again. If you continue to receive this error message, reinstall your Expression program to make sure that the license installs correctly. However, it doesn't mean piracy protection is not included. Maybe it's sharing the same anti-piracy infrastructure (Software Licensing and Protection Services) with your OS. I've included notes on installing the free version. If you are installing the free version, download Expression Web 4 Free Version. Click on the installation file Web_Trial_en.exe (ignore the fact that it says Trial) and follow the instructions. There is no need to activate EW once you have installed it.
