Re: Error #2154 in browser Michael Thornburgh Feb 21, 2010 9:44 AM (in response to Mahron) error #2154 is "NetStream is no longer valid". i think that can happen if you selected "Deny" in the "Peer Assisted Networking" dialog box. if you aren't seeing the dialog box appear, perhaps there is a remembered "Deny".if you *are* getting the dialog *and* you're hitting "Accept", then it's something else. Re: Error #2154 in browser Michael Thornburgh Feb 21, 2010 9:52 AM (in response to Michael Thornburgh) you must wait for the "NetStream.Connect.Success" NetStatusEvent before you can publish (or play, or do much of anything with a group NetStream). perhaps in your "locally" case, you have a remembered "Accept", so the dialog box is bypassed and new NetStreams and NetGroups work immediately (and in AIR, there is no dialog; it's like every domain has a remembered "Accept"). but if you have t
Player Flash Player 10.1 that developers can take advantage of when creating their video players. In this sample we show how this simple NetStream feature can allow you to keep a stream playing during a connection loss without disturbing the viewing experience of the user. This will allow your custom script to resolve the connection on the back end without alerting the user. Lets get started: Assets Used: Adobe Flash CS5 Flash Player 10.1+ Influxis Account Adobe Flash Media https://forums.adobe.com/thread/581550 Admin Console (Comes with FMS download) Source Files: ReconnectSample.zip Here is a quick Video Tutorial on how this works: As a recap to the video, make sure you have the SAME video file in both accounts or application folders. Also make sure your code is setup using the play2() command for your NetStream: Main.as: ns = new http://influxis.com/streaming-while-reconnecting-with-flash-player-10-1/ NetStream(nc); ns.client = this; ns.inBufferSeek = true; ns.addEventListener(NetStatusEvent.NET_STATUS, onNetStatus ); ns.bufferTime = this.bufferTime; //Initial Play - start off playing with this one. var npo:NetStreamPlayOptions = new NetStreamPlayOptions(); npo.transition = NetStreamPlayTransitions.RESET; npo.streamName = fileName; //Resume Play - when connection is recovered use this to restart the playback w/o interruption. ns.attach( this.nc ); //pass in the new net connection. var npo:NetStreamPlayOptions = new NetStreamPlayOptions(); npo.transition = NetStreamPlayTransitions.RESUME; npo.streamName = fileName; This makes it very useful for a developer to handle connection drops, making applications much more intuitive and powerful. clicking between two clips in a playlist which have different netConnectionUrl values. If I click between two clips that happen to have the same netConnectionUrl value, no errors occu r. In this particular case, the netConnectionUrl values have flash player the same host, and differ by the directories (e.g. /private vs. /vod). The clips are audio (.mp3) streams being served from an Adobe FMS 4.5.2. A playlist with video clips having different netConnectionUrl values does not exhibit this problem, flash player error only audio clips. Have tried calling the player's .stop(), and .pause() methods before playing the newly selected clip--no change in behavior. The rtmp config is fairly simple: rtmp: { url: '[rtmp_swf_location]', durationFunc: 'getStreamLength' } The base clip is as simple: clip: { provider: 'rtmp', autoPlay: false } After receiving the error, clicking again on the same item in the playlist, the clip will load and begin to play. But then clicking on any other entry, whether it has the same netConnectionUrl value, or not, will generate the 201/2154 error. Any thoughts, or solutions? Christian Ebert Tue, 17 Sep 2013 11:39:15 GMT With Flowplayer Flash you can just use the full rtmp address as clip url.
