Flash Player Not Working Chrome
Aug 9, 2011 4:02 PM I use Firefox 5.0 which only comes in 32-bit, ran software to uninstall current flash player, restarted computer, checked that Active X is enabled, and still get the message: INSTALLATION ENCOUNTERED ERROR ACTIONLIST NOT FOUND when I attempt to install latest Flash Player. Searching forums and other Help topics yielded no info on actionlists relating to installing adobe flash player won't install on mac flash player. I'm at the end of my rope. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks! 60537Views Tags: none (add) This content has been marked as final. Show 6 replies 1. It shows two installers listed for Windows/Plugin-based browsers, an EXE and a MSI installer. Do I need to run both in the order listed? The other options don't apply to my operating system and the browser I use, and the link at the right side under "next steps" is for the same installer that gave me the error message. Chosen solution There are two versions of Flash, one for IE (ActiveX) and another (Plugin) which is used by other browsers, such as Firefox. I don't see the Flash plugin in your list of installed plugins. 1.Download the Flash setup file from here: Adobe Flash - Plugin version. Save it to your Desktop. 2. adobe flash player Close Firefox using File > Exit then check the Task Manager > Processes tab to make sure firefox.exe is closed, {XP: Ctrl+Alt+Del = Processes tab} 3.
