So annoying.Do this: Go to http://www.softwarepatch.com/internet/flash.html then download the .msi file they give you. Run that. It worked for me.If the page ever gets taken down, just google "install flash player" and look for another site. Hopefully there'll be one.(P.S.: I don't know what browser you're using, but for what it's worth I'm on IE 6.0.2900.)(P.P.S.: I didn't have any problems installing Flash on Firefox 1.0.7, which seems to have a better installation process and/or installer program.)(P.P.S.: Adobe's website suggests either downloading their executable installer (http://kb.adobe.com/selfservice/viewContent.do?externalId=tn_19166) or using "SubInACL" from Microsoft to change the registry (http://kb.adobe.com/selfservice/viewContent.do?externalId=fb1634cb). But guess what? Their installer gave me an error and a reference back to the original webpage. As for the "SubInACL" solution, I didn't want to mess with my registry, especially for a solution that might not work.)Best of luck,InOutEtc
 Create an account or sign in to co

It prevents the videos from playing and he's had his computer in our shop several time in the last week but while its in our office all videos work just fine with no issues whatsoever. I have installed the latest flash player twice to make sure it was the latest version and from all appearances it works just fine. I also checked for virus activity and that came back clean. What could cause this? Is the plugin itself crashing? If so, does it crash on a particular site or on all sites with flash? If the problem manifests itself only at his home, you'll probably need to go on site to see it in action and diagnose it properly. –Karan Dec 6 '12 at 14:40 It seems like the plugin crashes and he claims it does it on all sites. Would something on his personal network cause this? I offered to do remote support next time it happened so I could see the error so I may be able to get more info soon. I dint no if this was a know problem with an easy fix or not. –MalwareManiac Dec 6 '12 at 14:48 I've never seen it, but possibly someone else has. Maybe something's messing with the video streams and the malformed data is causing the plugin to crash? Given the lack of information, who
