I went to the location above to see if I could find the file- NPSWF32.dll, but it's not there. There is a macromed and Flash folder but it is empty inside. I downloaded the NPSWF32.dll and tried to put it in the flash folder but the system wouldn't let me. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling, but I keep getting the same error. it is driving me insane, please help me if you are familiar with this problem. i googled this and saw that a lot of people had this problem as well but i've yet to find a working solution. After installing Flash, I had to manually copy ShockwaveFlash.class, NPSWF32.dll, FlashUtil11f_Plugin.exe and flashplayer.xpt from C:\Windows\SysWOW64\Macromed\Flash to Firefox's Plugins directory. Your filenames may be a bit different, of course, if you use a different version or OS. Complicating matters further, Flash seems to have dropped support for older versions of Firefox.
