Flash Player Not Working Chrome
10:07 AM I believe I have figured out the solution. Go to this "Uninstaller Link"and click on "download the windows uninstaller." Follow the prompts and completely uninstall the player and Active X. Once this is done go to download Flash Player 9 and it will install the complete version instead of the updates which have been problematic. Re: Solution to error could not find macromedia flash Nikki_Tatts Aug 3, 2006 5:19 PM (in response to 2pid) The only other step I think you might try is to first remove/uninstall Flash through the "add/remove hardware" section in the control panel. Then once you have done that then follow my directions. Thats the only thing that I can think of that I did because I do not have the problem at all anymore. Tatts Like Show 0 Likes(0) Actions 4. My sytem is Windows XP. The error message "Could not find the Macromedia Flash" keeps popping up on my PC. It doesn't matter what program I'm in or what I'm doing (even if I'm doing nothing at all). It started happening after I used Adware-Alert to remove spyware but I'm not convinced the two are related. Everything on my PC seems to be running fine, but the error message is persistant. I don't even know what a Macromedia Flash is!!!
