reply on Mar 2, 2010 10:46 AM by bentonit Flash Player Install Error: Memory can not be "written" bentonit Jul 10, 2009 3:21 PM Actual error (with fake addresses because I get a different adobe flash player won't install on mac address each time it fails this way) is CAPTION: iexplore.exe - Application error TEXT: "The instruction at "0x99999999" referenced memory at "0x99999999". The memory could not be "written".So far I have used the uninstall_flash_player.exe and tried the reset_fp10.cmd with the MS subinacl.exe tool. I have used a registryscrubber (RegScrubXP) and re-tried all of the above. I still can not get the flash player to load and I still get the uninstall flash player error each time I try. I have run IE8 manage add-ons and the flash player is not listed. I am at my wit's end, I have searched everywhere and tried everything. This is a brand new computer with very little other than MS products loaded. Nothing is loaded that is not loaded on my other 3 computers that run flash player 10 just fine. I have run complete diagnostics on mt Thinkpad t500 and all checks out.Machine: Lenovo ThinkPad model 2242CTOProcessor: Intel Core 2 DUO @ 2.53 GhzOperating System: Windows XP Professional SP 3Browser: Microsoft IE 8 I have the same question Show 0 Likes(0) 17213Views Tags: none (add) This content has been marked as final. At what point in the installation process do you receive this error? Can you double check that your Internet Explorer is up to date?If all else fails, I suggest running the Flash Player installer manually:http://fpdownload.adobe.com/get/flashplayer/current/install_flash_player_ax.exeBest,Chrisclechner//adobe Like Show 0 Likes(0) Actions 2. Steps to Take with Unexpected Errors If for any reason you have an unexpected error in Prezi, there are some initial steps that you can take before contacting the Prezi support team. 1. Please make sure you have the most up-to-date version of Adobe Flash Player. Click here to get the latest version. 2. Please make sure that Prezi.com, Adobe Air and Adobe Flash Player are allowed by any virus software, firewall, or pop-up blocker programs that you may be running. These two steps solve most problems - if not, and you are running Prezi through the online editor, it can sometimes help to change your browser. If you are using Internet Explorer or Safari, try either Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox. These two browsers better manage your computer's memory and in our experience encounter less problems when running Prezi. If you are still experiencing the same problem, and you are a Enjoy, Pro, or EDU, Pro license holder, you can contact the Prezi support team from this page by selecting 'Submit a new help request'.Related articles↑ Was this helpful? yes no Thanks for the feedback!
