I managed to resolve them =P When you get that error, open your Disc drive and leave it open for 10secs. Put the disc back in then wait 3 secs for it to load. Then hit the retry button and it will pass that file. Repeat this https://forum.flyawaysimulation.com/forum/topic/23073/error-1305/ step if error 1305 occurs again. It took me 2hours to install my copy successfully. Hope this helps. When i first got it I installed it. I had great trouble getting it to install. It constantly asks for me to verify X file exists sometimes for hours and hours. But i eventually managed to install it and it worked as well as my system could run it... But soon of course my hard drive died and i had to purchase a new one. After a few weeks i figured it was time to reinstall FSX, so i tried. BUT i got similar problems and i started getting error 1607's and it just wouldn't install. After verifying whatever file exists for hour it will eventually roll back all action and thats that... Sometimes it also says when i click on the FSX DVD in my computer it says D/ is not a valid windows application or soemthing along those lines. Does anyone have anyideas as to whats causing this? My current thoughts are it's my DVD drive (but it runs everything else fine) or most likely corrupted DVD's.. Either way i don't know what to do, and after forking over the $120 AUD and to not have it even install really frustates me! Cheers Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated! I've opened a new thread in the Technical discussion forum, this can be deleted if need be! Edited by nick91, 16 May 2007 - 04:41 AM.
