I'm not really a specialist on this topic. Do I have to delete it? What is with the other burning programs? Disable it or better delete it all! Do it in the control panel "add or remove programs". PapaSmurf22-Feb-07, 22:45have u gotten the right drivers for it from the manufacturer. Did you install it yourself? What DVD playing software are you trying to use? What OS - XP? with no info to go on, how should we even know? What I have to do is right-click it, go to properties. Select the right drive and go to update driver then go through the auto setup. As soon as it's finished, my DVDs mount. I've heard about the drive protection software too though.
