Each time I start the computer, I get an error message that says "Generic Host Process for Win32 Services has encountered an error and needs to close" Even so, everything looks fine - except the sound from my speakers completely stop. I can't hear anything from the PC's speakers. For example, I can see a movie DVD from my installed DVD ROM, but can't hear anything. I have googled for this problem and amazed by the number of people affected. But looks like each problem is different. Nevertheless, I have tried some solutions offered by those affected. * Disable automatic updates from Microsoft, * Use 'FirewallLeakTester' to close ports 135, 137 and 445. * Download and run Microsofts' recommended Hot fixes, Patches etc . I get some relief but at the next

Please note that while such error messages does not appear (few minutes after booting), everything is OK. And I can tell you even more if I open an application that obligatory needs an audio device, before such error appears, the applications continues to work well (with sound) even after such error appears and so no sound (except for applications opened before error appearance). Here is the error message I get below: Generic Host Process for Win 32 Service has encounter a problem and need to be close. The error Signature: sz AppName: svcHost.exe sz AppVer: 51.2600.2180 szModName: unknown sz ModVer: 0.0.0.0 Offset: 00000000 I go to the control panel and check generic host sound and audio device and it read "No Audio Device" with everything grayed out under volume under sound when I highlight a sound nothing happen. Audio everything is grayed out, Voice also everything grayed out. Hardware all device said that This device is working properly.
