When I install the distribution kit, the LabVIEW component seems to start fine, but the TestStand Run-Time Engine gives an error. The error message is Internal error 2744.. What can I do to make LabVIEW install the TestStand Run-Time Engine? Solution: This error is due to the design of the Microsoft Windows Installer (MSI) technology that Application Builder uses. MSI only allows one installer to be running at a critical section of the installer process. Since the executable installer calls the TestStand installer at a critical section, the TestStand installer cannot run. The TestStand installer has a timeout of 30 seconds. If the timeout is reached, the TestStand Installer throws error 2744.If your installation requires more than the 30 seconds to finish processing you can use a batch file (.bat) to install the TestStand Run-Time Engine in the same installation process. A batch file is a script of DOS commands that are executed. There is extensive information on the Internet on how to create batch files.First, let's look at the file structure.
