In this case it looks like a sentence has been altered during the revision/review process, perhaps using "track changes", but not read through properly before finalizing.320 Views · View Upvotes · Answer requested by grammatical error checker Lerner AdamsRelated QuestionsMore Answers BelowAcademic Journals: What is the average cost to publish a paper in an IEEE Conference?Academic Publishing: What are some reasons conference papers should be abolished? Is it possible for a person without any notable academic credentials to publish a paper in an academic journal?
