With the detailed error, you can locate the real issue here. Also, if you can run the browser on the server, you get details on the error, because the server recognizes that you are local and shows it to you. Or if you can read the log of the server using the Event Viewer, you also see the details of your error. On IIS 6

My site will be humming along fine but then I'll notice it beginning to bog down until finally I receive the 500 error. I ran mysqlcheck and found nothing amiss there, so I'm wondering if a script is causing the hang up. Could someone with firebug or wedev take a quick peak and tell me if there might be an issue with a script or two? Tidy isn't showing me anything critical but I'd appreciate some fresh eyes and or opinions. http://minu.me/2tc5 Thank you, Stephen 22 Aug 2010,04:24 AM #2 DrByte View Profile View Forum Posts View Blog Entries Visit Homepage View Articles Sensei Join Date Jan 2004 Posts 63,437 Blog Entries5Plugin Contributions183 Re: 500 Internal Server Error Originally Posted by jabbawest My site will be humming along fine but then I'll notice it beginning to bog down until finally I receive the 500 error. When I want to use an email verification component (that wants to connect to the Internet) on my host, I get an error related to Web Permission denied (ASP.NET 4). I searched for this error and found that GoDaddy has changed web permission in ASP.NET and restricts some features. When I want to use components that require these web permission on my site, I get error 500 (Internal Server Error). Can I give permission to an assembly only or solve my problem in another way? I asked this question to the Godaddy support team, but I didn't get any answers. web-hosting asp.net godaddy iis7 iis share|improve this question edited Nov 10 '13 at 17:19 Zistoloen 9,27252453 asked Oct 23 '13 at 5:10 Werewolf 327 1 You may ask GoDaddy to give full permission for you. But as I know Godaddy doesnt support Full Trust hosting. I would recommend you to find provider that offer Full Trust, for example asphostportal.com –Mark Shawn Oct 28 '13 at 7:56 add a comment| 2 Answers 2 active oldest votes up vote 2 down vote GoDaddy has a help page about web application trust level.
