Check your error logs and ask your host if you can't find the cause. When i go to my uploaded e107 folder (and gets redirected to install.php) i've got an 500 internal server error. When I upload the same files to an external webserver the installation starts fine. So there must be an server misconfiguration or http://e107coders.org/e107_plugins/forum/forum_viewtopic.php?25147 something. Any ideas? Thanks in advance Edit: Using Ubuntu 16.04, Apache2, MySQL, PHP5.5, PureFTPd on my server. There are no errors in the Apache2 error log. e107 version 2.1.1 asked May 18 in Installation by baseend edited May 18 by baseend kreos commented May 25 set chmod directory 755 and files http://www.e107help.org/2489/500-error-on-installation 644 - not 777 if you can work in ssh write this find . -type f -exec chmod 644 {} + find . -type d -exec chmod 755 {} + naturally set chown (user_of_web_site) chown website_user:website_user /var/www/directory_website.it -R commented May 25 by kreos edited May 25 by kreos Moc commented May 26 Every 500 error produces more information in the Apache error log. This is clearly a misconfiguration of your own webserver as you indicated and not specifically relating to e107. I suggest finding out a way to get more information on the 500 error, so the actual issue can be debugged. commented May 26 by Moc Please log in or register to add a comment.
