Will the lists/all API call be fixed though? episod 2011-11-17 15:35:00 UTC #4 Hi @janole, Yes this particular 502 case is being worked on and refactored to prevent the 502s from occurring so persistently. Some users are set up to fail right now janole 2011-11-17 15:40:41 UTC https://twittercommunity.com/t/bug-get-lists-all-returns-http-error-502-bad-gateway/7722 #5 Hi Taylor, again, thanks a lot for the quick reply. Just figured out what Arne tried to tell me The lists/all is returning ALL lists, which could be huge for some users and max 40 for "regular" users .. Anyways, one really weird thing that I've just encountered is this: lists/all does seem to work well when used without OAuth credentials, but it fails when used with valid OAuth credentials. Is there a different timeout used for OAuth clients? Cheers,Ole / @janole episod 2011-11-17 15:47:03 UTC #6 No, it just involves more churn & burn -- having a user perspective means that all those perspectival attributes need to be attributed properly -- "is the calling user following xyz list?" system 2014-09-02 14:33:44 UTC #7 Home Categories FAQ/Guidelines Terms of Service Privacy Policy Powered by Discourse, best viewed with JavaScript enabled Developers Documentation Forums Events Blog Forums
Its working fine. but some times I got this error. "The remote server returned an https://twittercommunity.com/t/the-remote-server-returned-an-error-502-bad-gateway/7210 error: (502) Bad Gateway". can you please make me clear why https://books.google.com/books?id=Op82XObL0qkC&pg=PT65&lpg=PT65&dq=error+bad+gateway+twitter&source=bl&ots=XFusnJglfK&sig=hITtff_EZNrX-JmUSGg0idMy_AE&hl=en&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwjH28ijn8jPAhWh7oMKHVYGBmkQ6AEIajAO this error comes. and how can I resolve this error. also suggest me correct website for download valid Twitter oAuth code. Regards,dhemittal@gmail.com episod 2011-08-23 14:15:02 UTC #2 Hi @dheerajmittal02, 502 errors are part of the normal range of errors you'll see from time to internal server time with the Twitter API, especially when fetching data in bulk. The error occurs when it takes our servers too many seconds to process the data that is being requested. It's most likely to occur during periods of high load. You can mitigate the frequency that it occurs for you by adjusting your count and per_page internal server error values down. Usually when you've made a request and received a 502, if you retry the same request a second or two later, the data will be available and returned to you quickly. episod 2011-08-23 14:24:56 UTC #3 Also, the example you link to is a little outdated in that you'll want to update the API paths to include the "api" subdomain and the "1" version, like https://api.twitter.com/1/statuses/user_timeline.xml instead of http://twitter.com/statuses/user_timeline.xml arthaey 2011-11-03 00:59:00 UTC #4 By limiting the per-page number of tweets to 50 instead of 200, this problem resolved for me. dewolfe001 2011-12-07 15:56:23 UTC #5 @arthaey, I have to agree with your solution-- I was sucking down 200 posts per user and almost always had a Bad Gateway result. I brought in 100 per request and my page, http://www.thosedewolfes.com/twiller now looks to work fine. system 2014-09-02 14:31:38 UTC #6 Home Categories FAQ/Guidelines Terms of Service Privacy Policy Powered by Discourse, best viewed with JavaScript enabled Developers Documentation Forums Events Blog Forums

It features a programming API that allows you to build Web sites and applications (both desktop and mobile) for reading and posting to Twitter, finding other Twitter users, aggregating Twitter content, and other uses. This book walks you through the process of combining many programming tools in order to build exciting, useful, and profitable applications. You'll begin with a look at RESTful services and examine how to structure your queries, handle asynchronous operations, use headers, and post binary data. From there, author and TweetSharp developer Daniel Crenna explains how to authenticate with the OAuth specification for Web and Windows applications. Twitter is growing in popularity at a rapid pace and this book shows you how to ta
