Chosen solution Try to delete the signedInUser.json file in the Firefox profile folder and delete the Weave folder (Sync was formerly named Weave). If that isn't enough then delete the prefs.js files to reset all prefs and maybe also delete the compatibility.ini file to reinitialize the profile. Boot the computer in Windows Safe mode with network support (press F8 on the boot screen) as a test to see if that helps. http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/tutorials/how-to-start-windows-in-safe-mode/ Read this answer in context 2 Question tools Get email updates when anybody replies. when a solution is found. I cannot load any web pages (500 Internal Server Error) 3 replies 6 have this problem 3341 views Last reply by cor-el 5 years ago herbertf Posted 5/26/11, 1:49 PM I cannot currently load any web pages when using Firefox. I get a standard "500 Internal Server Error" page on every site. I have tested using IE and there are no problems loading pages. I have tried creating a new profile, uninstalling and reinstalling, upgrading to Firefox 4 (was previously using 3) and uninstalling and wiping all https://support.mozilla.org/questions/1071411 profile information, but nothing has worked. The problem started when a video player made in Flash crashed (channel4.com). Windows was completely unresponsive and I could not exit full screen mode of the video. I tried pressing esc, ctrl + esc, ctrl + alt + delete etc but nothing worked and I had to hold the power button on the tower for 4 seconds to turn it off. When I started up https://support.mozilla.org/questions/826501 again I was presented with the screen when Windows fails to load normally and I selected the "Start Windows normally", which booted up Windows successfully. Since then I have been unabe to view any web pages in Fireox, I always get the 500 Internal Server Error page. This is an odd one and I am out of ideas, any help would be much appreciated as I really want to get back to using Firefox! Thanks I cannot currently load any web pages when using Firefox. Such things happen sometimes when standards are not followed. They are quite rare. I keep getting 500 Internal Errors on my testing server between updates. But only in Firefox. If I pop open the link in something like Chrome or IE - or even on a different device - all is well. Additionally, if I "reboot" Firefox, all is well. Started happening after I wrote a script that restarts our WAS on a weekly basis - rainbows and ponies for Windows task scheduler! What the what, I say! I think I might be doing something wrong-o?
