tamrhein Joined: 23/Jun/2009 00:00:00 Messages: 5 Offline Hello, I implemented a page using facelet with a dynamic datatable (pager, sortable header, dynamic columns). I have following problem: After a browser refresh my page can not be shown any more. I get https://community.oracle.com/thread/3946848 a Error 500--Internal Server Error. My page can not be shown again until webapp is restarted. Even if there is any problem in my code, I expect that a browser refresh should show the same page as on first http://www.icesoft.org/JForum/posts/list/17130.page load and not bring up any error. My environment: - eclipse galileo JavaEE with Oracle Enterprise Pack 11.1.1.5 - Icefaces 1.8.2 - Oracle weblogic 10.3.0.0 - Browser FF 3.6.6/IE 7.0 I also got a Icefaces EE 1.8.2_GA1 from a collegue but with same result. Steps to reproduce: - deploy my facelets-example.war (find it attached) - point browser to http://localhost:7001/facelet-example/ or whereever your oracle weblogic is running - you will see a table with two columns - press refresh button in FF -> Exception occurs (see below) Error message: Error 500--Internal Server Error java.lang.Exception: javax.faces.FacesException: Problem in renderResponse: null at com.icesoft.faces.context.View.servePage(View.java:189) at com.icesoft.faces.webapp.http.core.SingleViewServer.service(SingleViewServer.java:84) at com.icesoft.faces.webapp.http.common.ServerProxy.service(ServerProxy.java:43) at com.icesoft.faces.webapp.http.servlet.MainSessionBoundServlet$4.service(MainSessionBoundServlet.java:181) at com.icesoft.faces.webapp.http.common.standard.PathDispatcherServer.service(PathDispatcherServer.java:55) at com.icesoft.faces.webapp.http.servlet.BasicAdaptingServlet.service(BasicAdaptingServlet.java:48) at com.icesoft.faces.webapp.http.servlet.PathDispatcher.service(PathDispatcher.java:55) at com.icesoft.faces.webapp.http.ser

The reason for the error is as follows. The Weblogic server can find my servlet in my war file. But my servlet class references a struts action class. The action class is in the jar file. The war and jar are in the same ear. The error is a class not found internal server error exception - the action class in the jar is not being found. 0 Question by:booksplus Facebook Twitter LinkedIn Google LVL 13 Best Solution byMurali Murugesan Hi, Try the following, Move ur action class file to the war file instead of having it in a jar. I ended up referencing the jar file (that contains the class file) in the manifest.mf file of the war file (sounds like a tounge twister). The jar file is not actually in the war file, it is in the ear file. By referencing it in the manifest.mf of the war, the classloader was able to find the class. Thanks anyway. 0 Write Comment First Name Please enter a first name Last Name Please ente

When I deploy the same project in weblogic server 10.3 it's showing an error like below: Error 500--Internal Server Error javax.servlet.ServletException: [HTTP:101249][weblogic.servlet.internal.WebAppServletContext@ae43b8 - appName: '_appsdir_ab_dir', name: 'ab', context-path: '/ab', spec-version: 'null']: Servlet class FirstServlet for servlet FirstServlet could not be loaded because the requested class was not found in the classpath . java.lang.UnsupportedClassVersionError: FirstServlet : Unsupported major.minor version 51.0. web-server java weblogic share|improve this question asked Nov 30 '11 at 9:12 Abhinav Pandey 314 add a comment| 2 Answers 2 active oldest votes up vote 1 down vote accepted Your project has been built with a JDK whose version is higher than WebLogic supports. 51.0 designates JDK 7, but Weblogic 10.3.1 (for example, insert your version here) supports JDK 5 at most. You must either update Weblogic or make your project compatible to a earlier Java Version. You'll find more information about WebLogic 10.3's compatibility on Oracle's homepage: http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E12840_01/wls/docs103/compatibility/compatibility.html share|improve this answer answered Nov 30 '11 at 9:54 Roman 3,2241328 add a comment| up vote 0 down vote Probably you are using older version of Weblogic eg. (10.3.x)and higher version of java eg (jdk1.7.x). The solutions are 1.If possible update your Weblogic by higher version (OR) 2.compile your project with jdk 1.6 Go to IDE (eg.Eclipse) > right click on project>Properties>select java compiler > change compiler compliance 1.7 to 1.6>Apply OK >Go to project>clean and build > now deploy it .It will work definitely. :) share|improve this answer answered Apr 18 '15
