The error_log files says: Quote: [23-Dec-2010 10:57:49] PHP Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home/ims/public_html/gallery/main.php:1) in /home/ims/public_html/gallery/main.php on line 2
Here is the .htaccess file of the gallery Quote:Fri, 2012-07-06 08:18 This item was discussed in the locked thread http://gallery.menalto.com/node/101913. I would like to raise the topic again. After upgrade to Debian Squeeze on my web server, the uploadapplet malfunctions. After upgrade and patch of both gallery remote - including applets - and uploadapplet applets, the uploadapplet at least executes. But after successful upload of one or two, I get the error message in the subject. The corresponding error messages in the apache2 error.log are [Fri Jul 06 10:56:40 2012] [error] [client 10.0.12.118] PHP Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded in /usr/share/gallery2/modules/exif/lib/exifer/makers/olympus.inc on line 81 [Fri Jul 06 http://galleryproject.org/node/100772 10:57:13 2012] [error] [client 10.0.12.118] PHP Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded in /usr/share/gallery2/modules/exif/lib/exifer/exif.inc on line 146 Also, please see http://gallery.menalto.com/node/107295, where this error first was posted. /jason EDIT: Fault in php.ini skipped logging. Fixed that, and now I have results. try disabling the exif module and try again. -s jason@barbanet Joined:2012-07-02 Posts:23 Posted: Fri, 2012-07-06 18:28 suprsidr wrote: try disabling the exif module and try again. Without the EXIF module both Uploadify and uploadapplet performs OK. But without the EXIF module I get the upload date as capture date, not the actual capture date Do you know of a update/patch of the EXIF module? /jason Dayo Joined:2005-11-04 Posts:1642 Posted: Fri, 2012-07-06 21:48 It still seems it is your server setup that is the issue. "...modules/exif/lib/exifer/makers/olympus.inc on line 81" from your error log refers to "$data=hexdec($data);" "hexdec" is an internal PHP function but it is hanging your installation (Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded). Since it seems all these issues started since your OS upgrade and bearing in mind that you had a bad php.ini setup before, I'll say you should look into your OS upgrade again and perhaps hire someone to do it for you. In any case, you should post anyReview My PC Builds My Pride and Joy Media PC (HTPC) IPFire Router « Android App Support Android Ringtones, notifications, alarms; all gone? » Gallery3 (possibly Gallery2) 500 Internal Server Error Yet another unlikely problem (nothing unusual there), but after installing Gallery3 via my host's (VentraIP) Cpanel installer (Installatron), I got a 500 Internal Server error message. After much Googling I didn't find anything quite like my problem, yet I did notice a pattern: they all had to do with the php.ini or .htaccess files. So the natural progression from there was to rename both the php.ini and .htaccess files to ensure that wasn't the issue. Unfortunately I still got the 500 error. Frustrated and without and further ideas, I discovered that I also had a php.ini and .htaccess file in the root directory (in which my Gallery folder resides). I renamed both and magically IT WORKED! So next I named the .htaccess back; still works. And so then I knew the culprit was php.ini. I went through all the entries commenting them out 1 by 1 and testing them until I came to the problem. At the end of my ini file there was a zend_extension enabled that didn't exist (probably a failed experiment from a long time ago). Amazing that something so simple can bring down an entire web app. Anyways, that's fixed it; now I can add all my images (mostly wallpapers I've collected over the last few years, some of my own as well.
