I cannot see posts. My blog is being hosted by Yahoo Small Business. shazi Member Nov 3, 2010, 6:38 PM there is a problem in database connection , me was also getting this error on my games site . now it internal server has been removed . deeleea Member Nov 3, 2010, 11:08 PM This is happening for me too but only where it relates to posts. I'm using WP 3.01, have added in the php.ini file to my wp-admin and using the WP for iOS on an iPhone. I have a large number of posts so suspect maybe it's timing out, but that's only a guess... any one else have any ideas/solutions? deeleea Member Nov 3, 2010, 11:23 PM OK, I'm leaving this message for anyone else who's getting stuck internal server error on this... it was definitely a memory limit issue as discovered via my error logs. In order to increase the limit I added the following to my wp-config file define('WP_MEMORY_LIMIT', '64M'); The posts have now been downloaded. Hurrah! 993C4S Member Dec 12, 2010, 7:19 PM @dele a, did you change somethimhg, or just add that line. If just adding, does it matter where?? Thanks. deeleea Member Dec 12, 2010, 8:54 PM Just added the following lines after define('DB_COLLATE', ''); /**Increase memory limit. */ define('WP_MEMORY_LIMIT', '64M'); 993C4S Member Dec 13, 2010, 10:47 PM hmmm. just checked, and i had already added that a while back. so, that didn't fix things. Any other thoughts? deeleea Member Dec 13, 2010, 10:56 PM Hey 993, sorry, once it was fixed for me I didn't look any further. Have you had a look at your server error logs for any other clues? 993C4S Member Dec 13, 2010, 10:56 PM No, I guess that's next. :-) deeleea Member Dec 14, 2010, 12:08 AM Good luck! And let us know how you go :) Isaac Keyet Administrator Dec 27, 2010, 10:59 PM 993, let us know if you have been able to cure these issues. What hosting provider are you using? 993C4S Member Dec 27, 2010, 11:01 PM Unfortunately, I have not. I'm using HostGator. Comments and Pages work fine. However, every time I try to load posts, I get the same error. I have increased memory limits and that doesn't help... Topic Closed This topic has been closed to new replies. An "Internal Server Error" is an error that's happened within the web server attempting to show you an HTML page. It's typically a server-side problem out of your control. //I'm trying to download software from a specific site. No matter what I try to download, I get this error message:
Internal Server Error The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request. Please contact the server administrator webmaster@******.com and inform them of the time the error occurred and anything you might have done that may have caused the error. More information about this error may be available in the server error log. Additionally, a 500 Internal Server Error error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request. How is this resolved? I'm very familiar with this error. I see it all the time when setting up or making changes to websites. The good news? It's not your fault. The bad news? Aside from informing the site owner (which may or may not be the webmaster email address that's included in the error message), there's probably nothing that you can do to resolve this problem. That's because it's not your problem. The person who is responsible for the website needs to fix it. It's still the server's fault, but… Now, there are scenarios where you might have caused this. One issue might be if you saw a link in an email or webpage and rather than clicking on it, you copied and pasted the link in a web browser. If you accidentally didn't select the entire link and left off a few important characters at the end, you might see this message. Similarly, if you're typing in a URL from a book or other place and don't type it in exactly as it appears, you might see this message. Errors in URLs can indeed cause errors. To be clear, the server should be able to han
