I am not getting the error message when I test, I'm getting a successful submission message. I have installed the latest update and it has not resolved the problem... Please help me. Posted 4 years ago # redityo This most likely a permission problem, try to check your machform folder and files permissions, make sure it set as 755, except for "data" folder you can leave it as 777. However, if the problem still persist. Is it possible to post the form url in here ? otherwise you can sent details information to : customer.service[at]appnitro.com we will check it. I do https://sourceforge.net/p/phpformgen/discussion/149299/thread/fe137296/ know that in some cases when the generator gets installed and then creates a new form the generated files have the wrong file ownership and permissions assigned. This needs to be corrected before you get to far using the generator to prevent forms from being created with the wrong permissions. My recommendation has always been to set php files to (755, or 775) and html and graphic files to (644 or 664). According to the text below this should work but is not the most secure. I have personally never experienced this issue so I can not confirm that these changes will fix your problem but it's a start. Let me know how it works for you. In any case here is some more secure choices for setting php file permissions. Give this a try and se what happens. From: http://webmaster.iu.edu/PHPlanguage/index.shtml III. Troubleshoot If you get 500 Internal Server Error message, 1. Check whether the file permission is set to 700. If your file permission is set to something else (e.g., 777 or 644), you will get a 500 - Internal Server Error. Note: Setting the file permission to 711 or 755 will not give you a 500 error, but we strongly recommend using 700 for se

Server Error [Resolved] Keep Getting 500 Internal Server Error megatoyworld @megatoyworld 6 months ago I have used this plugin before and never had any issues. I installed on a new site and made a pretty lengthy form (you can see the form here http://megatoyworldsite.com/cash-for-video-games/) when you try to submit this form i keep getting 500 internal server error. So to test, i made a shorter contact form and that works perfectly fine (just has name, email and subject on it) THat form submits just fine, no errors and i receive it in email. Anybody know why this is happening and how to fix it? I contacted Godaddy my hosting provider and they said everything looks good on there end. Thanks https://wordpress.org/plugins/visual-form-builder/ Viewing 3 replies - 1 through 3 (of 3 total) Joseph @josephk77 6 months ago Hello there, I am thinking this is related to php limitations on your server. There are a few things I would do here: 1. Make sure your running php 5.4 or better. 2. Make sure your php limitations are increased such as your timeouts, php process times and max input vars. You might also check for conflicts, but I do not think that is the issue. Thanks, Joseph VFBPro Support megatoyworld @megatoyworld 6 months ago Current PHP version is showing 5.3 so Im going to update that. Having my PHP limitations increased would that be through godaddy or something i do on my own? Thanks. Joseph @josephk77 5 months, 4 weeks ago Godaddy will likely have to help you, unless you know how to do it. Yeah I'd start with the php version and all. 5.4 is recommended to be used by all new builds of WordPress as well.
