Entrekin, on Jan 12, 2013 2:41:00 AM Once in a while I encounter an error that doesn't provide iis event log any helpful information. This is exactly what happened the other day how to fix http 500 internal server error I opened my SharePoint2013 site and found out that the website cannot display the page due to

HTTP 500 Internal Server Error. First thing I tried to do is open SharePoint Central Administration, to see if I get the same error message. Strangely, I https://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/sharepoint/en-US/acaf5762-759d-41d5-bdf5-2177fa364aed/sharepoint-designer-internal-server-error?forum=sharepointcustomizationlegacy was able to open Central Administration without any errors. I opened IIS Manager to make sure SharePoint - 80 Application Pool was running, and I noticed that SecurityTokenServiceApplicationPool application pool was stopped. I started SecurityTokenServiceApplicationPool application pool, refreshed my SharePoint site but that didn't resolve the issue. I http://blog.cloudshare.com/blog/how-to-resolve-http-500-internal-server-error-in-sharepoint-2013-site opened IIS manager and noticed that SecurityTokenServiceApplicationPool was stopped again. In that case, best thing to do was to open IIS events log and check what's going on with SecurityTokenServiceApplicationPool application pool. The IIS event log showed the warning ID 5021: The identity of application pool SecurityTokenServiceApplicationPool is invalid. The user name or password that is specified for the identity may be incorrect, or the user may not have batch logon rights. If the identity is not corrected, the application pool will be disabled when the application pool receives its first request. If batch logon rights are causing the problem, the identity in the IIS configuration store must be changed after rights have been granted before Windows Process Activation Service (WAS) can retry the logon. If the identity remains invalid after the first request for the application pool is processed, the application pool will be disabled. The data field contains the error number. All, Today I found the solution of our error with the Search in our SharePoint 2010 Farm. The problem is that each user making a search into his Site collection via the Search Box as bellow, http://sharepointfordummies.blogspot.com/2015/03/search-issue-internal-server-error.html received this error message: After checking services, IIS, Central Administration, rebooting all servers https://support.office.com/en-us/article/Troubleshoot-workflow-errors-8fcf47e5-a410-4714-880b-2611b18a56ce from this Service Farm, I still had plenty of Error with the Event ID 8313: The solution is to stop/start (from Central Administration) the "Search Query and Site Settings Service" from each affected servers. In my case, I had 2 servers having the service activated. Thus, I've stop/start the servcice on both servers. The internal server main reason of the Round Robin Service Load Balancer Event, is that when the service is activated on several servers, if the first server cannot fint the search URL, it'll send the request to the second server. The risk is to have a ping-pong play between those servers. To figure out this issue, I've read lot of blogs, and I found a clear explanation in Henry Ong blog. internal server error He save my day. Also, according to Microsoft, I was asked to schedule a daily recycling of the Application Pool for the "Search Query and Site Settings Service" service. By default, the recycling is not set in IIS. First point: find the correct Application Pool. In the event log, the Affected Endpoint was https://
