Page 1 of 2 1 2 Next > Mr. Spinnas New Member I really not sure what is wrong. I really want to be fix if any one can give me an idea I will be glad and willing to give a small fee of a payment for your help. The site is (www.mymusicdynasty.com) I recently change to litespeed my server has 3 site but this Vbulletin site is the only one getting 500 internal server error randomly. I contacted my server support said they do not support litespeed and ca not assist me. My .Htaccess file # Comment the following line (add '#' at the beginning) # to disable mod_rewrite functions. # Please note: you still need to disable the hack in # the vBSEO control panel to stop url rewrites. wamp server everything worked perfectly fine, but on hosting there was "internal server error". Eventually I found what was causing it. The htaccess rewrites. Here's the code provided by VBSeo. RewriteRule ^((urllist|sitemap_).*\.(xml|txt)(\.gz)?)$ vbseo_sitemap/vbseo_getsitemap.php?sitemap=$1 [L] RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} !(delfossecp/|delfosse2cp/|cron|vbseo_sitemap)RewriteRule ^((archive/)?(.\.php(/.)?))$ vbseo.php [L,QSA] RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-fRewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-dRewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !/(delfossecp|delfosse2cp|clientscript|cpstyles|images|vbseo_sitemap)/RewriteRule ^(.+)$ vbseo.php?vbseourl=$1&uri=%{REQUEST_URI} [L,QSA] It worked okay on http://www.litespeedtech.com/support/forum/threads/solved-need-help-500-internal-server-error-please-read.5037/ my local server. On hosting, the exclamation mark had to be changed to "^". I don't know why, though, because the code provided by VBSeo seems to be working everywhere except on my hosting. Now once the "!" was changed to "^", it started working, but the function https://www.sitepoint.com/community/t/bad-syntax-provided-by-vbseo/80372 "get last post" or "get new post" doesn't work. The same happens on my local server if I make the same change. Could anyone explain what is this about and if it's possible to fix the whole thing? People are complaining to me about it and I can't do anything. MrSpock 2011-03-19 15:10:23 UTC #2 I found that if I completely remove the following part "!(delfossecp/|delfosse2cp/|cron|vbseo_sitemap)", then everything works perfectly fine. I just have to leave "^" there. But my guess is that it must make something work wrong. Can you confirm or deny my suspicion?
