Were you running this in Management Studio and maybe accidentally left it on [master]? put a USE [YourDatabaseName] at the top of that and see what happens. –Cᴏʀʏ Jun 18 '10 at 12:03 add a comment| 5 Answers 5 active oldest votes up vote 4 down vote It means that it doesn't know what ENG_PREP is. You need to use a 'use xxx' (where xxx is the database name where the ENG_PREP lives) command first to tell it what database you are using. And once you do that, you need to make sure that ENG_PREP is present in that database. If you're using .Net to connect, you need to make sure you specify the initial catalog so it knows what database to use, here's an example excerpt from a web.config:

Look in SSMS under Server objects -> Trigger and see what you can find –Bridge Jun 28 at 9:03 Thanks for your quick answer. No, nothing at all under "Server Objects" > "Triggers". –user3341592 Jun 28 at 9:05 Next stop - DDL triggers on individual databases I guess? For each database, look under the database name -> programmability -> Database triggers –Bridge Jun 28 at 9:08 Yep! Found in "my" database. I'm using SQL 2008 SP3. Seem like last week the replication failed and I have to set a new one again. I've been doing the instructions in the link below. It worked last time when I tried to redo the replication using Management Studio but right now it gives me invalid object name the error:Error 208 Invalid Object Name 'dbo.sysextendedarticlesview'. http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms151759.aspx#Prerequisites I also tried to perform thesp_removedbreplication, and it also gave the same error. Also, the view still existed in the distributor db but it's empty when I ran it. I don't have this view in the other subscriber so I can't restore it. Can anyone suggest what to do next? All I need is to start a new replication and I can't move forward due to this error. Thanks. "Column1" from the "Table_2" from the database "Adventureworks", the following syntax was used: SELECT Column1 FROM Tabl_2 In this case, SQL Server will send the next error: Msg 208, Level 16, State 1, Line 4 Invalid object name 'Tabl_2'. Let's check the names of all tables in the database. It was found that there was a mistake, instead "Table_2" was "Tabl_2". The following syntax should be applied to select "Column1" from "Table_2": SELECT Column1 FROM Table_2 Post navigation Incorrect syntax near the keyword ‘PRIMARY' (Msg 156)A transport-level error has occurred when sending the request to the server (Msg 233) Search for: open all | close all sparkling Theme by Colorlib Powered by WordPress
