Mp4 To M4v Converter
7:02 AM in response to rrjj Exact same problem with .mp4's taken across from my iMate JASJAM. Will not play in iTunes or Quicktime at all when using the mp4 file extension. If I change the file extension to m4v, they will play with no error message AND NO AUDIO!!! Very frustrating. I have a PPC 6700, and now I can't view movies I created with it in mp4. If change extension file to 3GP video works just fine. Also, when I try to see a webpage with a Quicktime video clip, I only get a Quicktime logo with a big question mark in it, but no play.I tried uninstalling and reinstalling, but nothing seems to work.I have Windows XP, and it worked fine until a couple weeks ago. Not sure if when upgrading to Quicktime 7.2, though. Anyone? Helpful (0) Reply options Link to this post by Nikkolus, Nikkolus Sep 22

Lets start with the basics please, and please be more detailed in future posts. 1. What recording software are you using? 2. Specifically, Can you please provide me with the URL of the video(s) you're trying to record and playback using quicktime? 3. What happens when you try playing back the recorded video with another media player (i.e. windows media player, flv player, real player, etc). We'll move forward accordingly based on your responses.
