This discussion is locked stepfordhusband Level 1 (0 points) Q: Itunes error (-609) when attempting to download artwork I'm receiving the following message when attempting to download album artwork:Artwork for itunes error 609 fix XXXXXX could not be found. An unknown error occurred (-609)MY first thought was that it itunes error 609 album artwork fix was due to the artwork being unavailable, but i deleted the artwork for an album which i had previously downloaded. When i itunes error 609 get album artwork tried to re-download the artword, same problem. I can download track information, though.This has occurred since updating to itunes 8.0.1.11using 64 bit Vista. Never had this problem before... So dial up is probably the issue. And based on the system requirements, buying music required broadband. I'd been having that problem for a week. I thought it might be Australian internet but now I'm in Dubai and it still wasn't working. Once you do that, select all the songs (Ctrl+A), right click on them and click on "find album artwork". You can also try scanning with CCleaner to find registry errors.
