purchased a re-furbished Mac Pro Two 2.93 ghz Quad Core (8 core) Intel Xeon 6gb ram computer from Apple. Also purchased Logic Studio. When Logic pro 9 was loaded, I had no problems. Getting into the program I now have several issues. (My 90 day software support is up) #1-In record mode, Logic prompts me with audio midi clock synch itunes error 39 errors. It stops the session with a prompt. I have to hit continue and immediately with the pointer, engage the stop on the transport window. On re-starting (play mode) audio anomalies occur (slow down/distortion) In order to get the audio to get back to normal, I have to come out of the session and re-launch Logic. Logic recommended that I update to the recent 9.1 version and also trash the Logic preferences, which I did twice. Audio midi clock synch errors are not occurring as frequently, but other issues have come up. #2-When assigning single outputs in the inspector window, Logic automatically assigns stereo outputs in the mixer causing routing issues. When I try to fix the problem, Logic combines stereo outputs in mixer to one mono. A true nightmare. #3-The Count In function (in the metronome/record menu) does not work at all. #4-Creating a new Template or project aggravates the situation causing more problems. #5-Occasionally on launching Logic, an error message appears "Unknown error-This application cannot continue because of error coreFoundation Unknown Err" with a quit button. #

That's annoying. Logic won't continue opening beyond this http://logicproforums.com/index.php?showtopic=2028 point and I have to force quit it. I used to have Pro Tools and Melodyne which I've read in other threads have caused this problem. I've already searched in finder for anything melodyne related and deleted it (I don't have it anymore) and almos anything Digidesign related https://discussions.apple.com/thread/3281473?tstart=0 as well. There are a few things that OSX won't let me delete that are Digidesign related. If anyone can help me figure this out I'd be super stoked.Thanks,SeanHere's the crash report:Process: MIDIServer [476]Path: /System/Library/Frameworks/CoreMIDI.framework/MIDIServerIdentifier: com.apple.audio.midi.CoreMIDIVersion: 1.8 (42)Code Type: X86 (Native)Parent Process: launchd [142]Date/Time: 2011-08-22 22:10:09.917 -0400OS Version: Mac OS X 10.7.1 (11B26)Report Version: 9Interval Since Last Report: 18736 secCrashes Since Last Report: 76Per-App Interval Since Last Report: 39 secPer-App Crashes Since Last Report: 68Anonymous UUID: F4C6C78A-CE6A-4EFD-B350-755C04E33D22Crashed Thread: 0 Dispatch queue: com.apple.main-threadException Type: EXC_BAD_ACCESS (SIGBUS)Exception Codes: KERN_PROTECTION_FAILURE at 0x0000000001ca3077VM Regions Near 0x1ca3077: __PDSIG 0000000001c9c000-0000000001ca2000 [ 24K] r--/rwx SM=COW /Library/Frameworks/DFW.framework/Versions/A/DFW--> __DATA 0000000001ca2000-0000000001ebc000 [ 2152K] rw-/rwx SM=COW /Library/Frameworks/DFW.framework/Versions/A/DFW __LINKEDIT 0000000001ebc000-0000000001fb6000 [ 1000K] r--/rwx SM=COW /Library/Frameworks/DFW.framework/Versions/A/DFWApplication Specific Information:/Library/Frameworks/DFW.framework/Versions/A/DFWobjc[476]: garbage collection is OFFThread 0 Crashed:: Dispatch queue: com.apple.main-thread0 ??? 0x01ca3077 g_dwILiLokTokens + 41031 dyld 0x8fe2215b ImageLoaderMachO::doModInitFunctions(ImageLoader::LinkContext const&) + 2512 dyld 0x8fe21cc0 ImageLoaderMachO::doInitialization(ImageLoader::LinkContext const&) + 643 dyld 0x8fe1f220 ImageLoader::recursiveInitialization(ImageLoad
playing: "Error while trying to synchronize Audio and MIDI" The basic issue when this happens is that Logic is either not getting audio data at the sample rate it expects, or the sample rate is fluctuating. Depending on the https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204466 specific cause, here are some tips for resolving this: In most cases, Logic can set http://www.dllgreat.com/know/logic-pro-8-quits-unexpectedly-everytime-i-open-and-begin-to-use.html the sample rate for the audio interface, but sometimes this is not possible. Check the sample rate for your audio audio interface and make sure it matches Logic's setting. If the settings match, try changing Logic's sample rate to a different setting and then back again. If you have any devices digitally connected to the audio interface, make sure that only itunes error one device is set to be the master clock. If you have combined multiple audio interfaces by configuring an Aggregate Device in Audio/MIDI Setup, make sure that the devices are digitally connected, and that only one device is configured as master clock. If you are using Word Clock to sync multiple devices, be sure that all Word Clock connections are properly terminated. ChooseAudio > Audio Hardware & Driversand try increasing the I/O Buffer size. Try freezing tracks error 4013 iphone that use plug-ins that put significant load on the processor. If you are running other software or hardware that can send MTC or MIDI clock, but intend for Logic to be the sync master, turn off Auto Sync In for Logic, to prevent Logic from receiving sync externally. The Auto Sync In setting can be accessed by click-holding the sync button on Logic's Transport. If you are syncing Logic to another application or device via MTC, make sure that both Logic and the sync master are set to the same format. Make sure that Logic is not receiving both MIDI Clock and MTC. Also, configure the Audio Sync setting to "External or Free" in case the system is resolved to external Word Clock. If you using a Reactor ensemble that syncs its LFO to the song tempo, try bypassing or removing the plug-in. If none of the above helps, try switching to Built-in Audio. If this resolves the problem, check for updated drivers for your audio and MIDI interfaces. that has anything to do with it. I was wondering if anyone had any idea what it could be and whether or not i should just try to reintall?
