Contributor 29 Answers Re: What is iphone error 1505... And how do you fix... First, put your device into DFU mode. Next option restore to the 3.1.3 ipsw. It should give you an error (1505 I think) and it will enter recovery mode. After that run blackra1n rc3 and the iPhone will go to a black screen. Hold down the home button and the power button until it restarts. Then when it turns on iTunes will activate it. Good luck Posted on Mar 12, 2011 Helpful 0 Not Helpful 1 Comment Flag sam_i_am77 Apr 13, 2011 Hi, I got the 1505 error and now cant do anything with my iphone because it is just a blank screen.
