I have no idea how to do that. I did realize after fighting with trying to restore it several times that it would give me other error codes as well. I tried it again tonight and received error code 3004. The research I did on past codes seem to have something to do with my security software but after several failed attempts to "fix" the security issues, I gave up. The iPod 1G cannot run iOS 4 at all, it's top firmware is 3.1.3 I'm guessing this is a second generation iPod touch, so it's just a matter of which version it is. (or it could be even newer, I'm not sure!). Look at the back of the device to see if error 1646 iphone the model number starts with MC or PC, or MB or PB. If it is MB or PB, then you are in luck and can use whited00r Just download the firmware for the iPod touch 2G (second generation) and use redsn0w from the post linked below to enter PWNED DFU mode:iTunes 16xx error even when using iReb - READ THISHowever, if it is MC or PC, then sadly you can't use whited00r at this time as that device has a newer bootrom and isn't compatible with the method whited00r uses to create the firmware EditLooks like you modified your original post.Still check the model number of the device, to see if it is MC or PC and such.
