Surprisingly, no hassles and takes only a little bit of time (depending on the number of songs) to complete. Good luck and Happy Holidays. CASSY [[BAYBEH]] · 9 years ago 0 Thumbs up 0 Thumbs down

View My Profile Burning disks on iTunes errors I'm about ready to throw my bloody laptop out the window at the moment.... I'm trying to back up individual albums onto disks with iTunes. However 6/7 times I've done it tonight it hasn't worked. It starts to itunes error burn the disk and then throws up an 'unkown error', either (4251) or (4221). I've searched for solutions and none of them have worked. These include. *Cancelling other programs. I've tried running only iTunes and even after I've closed half the processes via the Task Manager it still doesn't work. *Closing down anti-virus software. I've temporarily shutdown Norton but again, still no avail. *Less songs on the playlist. I haven't tried this because I know it's not an issue. These error 4221 itunes are normal-length albums that fit on a normal disk. I have to use iTunes for the majority of these since I buy most of my music through iTunes, so trying something else is pointless. The disks are Sony CD-R and I'm pretty sure it's not the disks. I'm fairly sure it's not my disk burner either since one of them has worked and I don't have too much trouble playing other media (to say I have no trouble would be lying). Any help at all would be incredibly well appreciated. Many thanks in advance, Paddy __________________ POORPADDY89 Hobbyist Photographer and Professional Nerd Follow me on Twitter @PaddyShiel PoorPaddy89 View Public Profile Send a private message to PoorPaddy89 Find More Posts by PoorPaddy89 June 9th, 2010, 01:21 PM #2 Harold_Cakington Join Date: Jan 2009 Location: West Yorkshire, United Kingdom Posts: 2,270 Awards Showcase Total Awards: 1 (more» ...) View My Profile Have you tried burning them using different software? At least that way you'd be able to tell if it's iTunes or a problem with your OS talking to your Burner. __________________ Quote: Originally Posted by kahuna Frogger with an arcade stick would be too extreme for most people.
