In other words, the host where the Podcast is located is not working correctly, the episode cannot be found or some similar fault has occurred. I suggest you try again tomorrow. If the problem continues, itunes error 404 contact the Podcast's producer.Phil Helpful (0) Reply options Link to this post by the fiend, the fiend Nov 1, 2009 11:11 AM in response to Nevets_iPod_Man Level 6 (8,550 points) Nov 1, 2009 11:11 AM in response to Nevets_iPod_Man I've just tried ASOT100 again now, but the same problem occurs. I suggest you contact the Podcast's producer as they appear to have a problem which they may not yet know about.Phil Helpful (0) Reply options Link to this post by Claire Gold Coast, Claire Gold Coast Nov 2, 2009 6:38 AM in response to Nevets_iPod_Man Level 1 (0 points) Nov 2, 2009 6:38 AM in response to Nevets_iPod_Man I'm having the same problem too. It's a special episode (and it's two hours long) so perhaps over-demand is causing the download to fail.As I'm typing, the remaining time to download is actually increasing and that makes me more certain that it's simply more people trying to download it than the host server can supply.Keep trying.Phil Helpful (0) Reply options Link to this post This site contains user submitted content, comments a

Additionally, the site at http://sandbox.itunes.apple.com/ says the service is unavailable (and has been so for nearly 24 hours). Is this normal or does it make IAP integration impossible until the service comes back? ios in-app-purchase itunesconnect share|improve this question asked Mar 26 '14 at 8:33 Ger 2,20343365 1 Whether it's normal or not I can't say, but error 503 is quite clear: The service is not available right now, try again later. You should also be handling that error correctly once your app is in the hands of the user, because it's always possible that some service is unavailable for some time. –gnasher729 Mar 26 '14 at 10:59 add a comment| 1 Answer 1 active oldest votes up vote 0 down vote It seems that its merely a matter of playing the waiting game for either: The IAP product or The test user to fully register on iTunes Connect. I made no changes and it's working fine now even though http://sandbox.itunes.apple.com/ still returns a 503. share|improve this answer answered Mar 27 '14 at 8:44 Ger 2,20343365 That's exactly the meaning of error 503. It means "try again later", so it is no surprise that it starts working when you try again later. It might stop working anytime, like when Apple's server is down. –gnasher729 Mar 27 '14 at 9:03 I understand but I'd expect sandbox.itunes.apple.com to return something other than "Service unavaiable" for when the service is back up (ie. a 200, everything OK message). –Ger Mar 27 '14 at 10:35 add a comment| Your Answer draft saved draft discarded Sign up or log in Sign up using Google Sign up using Facebook Sign up using Email and Password Post as a guest Name Email Post as a guest Name Email discard By posti
