G gottsman last edited by I am struggling to get iOS Owntracks to connect to my MQTT. Its been a while since I've touched it and it used to work :-) -- Previously all devices connected to the MQTT server (Mosquitto). Now only the Android device currently connects -- Some devices are running iOS 8.x and some are running 9.x -- All are running Owntracks 8.2.11 Here is the command that is being created: mqtts://kevin@50.90.1.110:8883 c1 k60 as kevin-o Here is the resulting error: error The operation couldn't be completed. (OSStatus error -9807.) { } I tried to reimport my certificate onto the iOS devices with no luck. Any thoughts? -- Kevin Reply Quote 0 jpmens Dev last edited by jpmens I'm assuming you have a self-signed certificate on Mosquitto: go to OwnTracks app settings and tap the (I) next to TLS. Specify: Use Custom Security Policy: enabled Allow Untrusted Certificates: enabled Go back and click Check once or twice; you should notice a thin red line below the blue top bar which shows connection status. That will shortly change to yellow and then disappear when OwnTracks is connected. I think that should do it. FYI: we've tightened down the default security for iOS which is why you're experiencing this. Reply Quote 0 G gottsman last edited by Bingo!! That was it. Easy fix.
